RENWICKTOWN.

(From a Correspondent.) It has become generally known that Mr Wm. Tapp, one of the best known .of Marlborough settlers, has recently disposed of ,Ins business and farm at Ren wick town, but it is hoped that this will not result in his permanently leaving a district in which he has resided tor such a length of time, and with the progress of which his name has become- so prominently identified. In connection with his arrangements, Mr Tapp is disposing of his trotting stud, live stock, farm implements, and furniture by unreserved auction at his residence, Renwicktown, on Wednesday next, and the items to be disposed of comprise an inclusive list from which sportsmen of the trotting track, farmers, and the general public have an unusual opportunity of filling their requirements. Every item that will be offered has been selectedby Mr Tapp for its worth and for his personal use, and his expert; knowledge of stock and farming has bean responsible. for his selection being of a high-class character. The. sale, which will be conducted by the New Zealand Loan and MercantileAgency Company, will commence at 11.30 a.m., and, for the convenience of those attending, luncheon will be provided, and a drag for Renwicktown will leave the Square at 10.30 a.m. if a sufficient number of passengers are forthcoming.
