SHOOTING FATALITY.

A BOY LOSES HIS LIFE

WELLINGTON, Sept. 25. Rock wood Gwvnne Potts, a lad of 13, th© son of Mr Geoffrey Potts, of lioputarua, near Levin, accidentally shot himself with a Winchester rifle on Saturday. He went to his mother's room in the morning, and while trying the door she heard an explosion, and was'horrified to find the boy lying on the floor. The top of his.skull was blown away. The lad was home for the holidays from Wanganui College. Mr Potts is a wellknown settler, formerly of South Canterbury.
