POSTAL HOLIDAY

Thursday, the 26th September, Dominion Day, will be observed as a close holiday at all Post Offices in the district. Mails usually closed on Thursday will close at 7 a.m. There will be no delivery by the letter-carriers on Thursday, .but a delivery of correspondence will !be made over the public counter on Wednesday between 7 and 8 p.m. The Telegraph Branch will be open from 9 a.m. *to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to midnight. Telegrams for transmission shoraltf be presented at the operatingroom door, side entrance. The Telephone Exchange Trill be open a-s usual.
