The Wanaka is due at Picton on Friday morning to load a. cargo of chaff for Auckland.
Wairau Bar (noon): The bar is smooth, and the tides good. The Waihi crossed in at 7.30 a.m. to-day, and the Blenheim and Opawa out last night at 7.30 and 7.45 respectively. The ketch Result, with timber from Havelock, arrived at 7 p.m. yester--day, and on crossing the bar would not answer her helm, and grounded on a shingle bank inside the bar.
