BLENHEIM RIFLES.

SERIES COMPETITION

The second stage of the series competition of the Blenheim Rifles was fired this morning. There was a tricky wind, but the light was fairly good. The best score was that of Sergt. Jordan, 42. The result of the shooting gives Colour-Sergt. Hadfield a lead of four points over Pvt. Holdaway in the first class, and Corpl. Heffer a ten points' lead in the second. The conditions were ten shots at 600 yards. Following are the scores:—
