KOROMIKO CRICKET CLUB.

! The annual general meeting of the Koromiko Cricket Club was held on Friday, the 20th inst. in the school. There was a good attendance, Mr J. Haughey being in the chair. The report and balance-sheet were read and adopted. The Committee congratulated the Club on the successful season. Nine matches were played, and only two lost, the Club carrying off the junior championship for Marlborough. A bat was presented by Mr R. Bragg for the highest average in batting in cup matches, Avhich was won by Mr John Randall. The Committee tendered their heartiest thanks to the ladies for the excellent spreads they provided for the visiting teams. The Committee also thanked Mr E. Neal for his kindness in allowing the Club the use of his paddock. The Club were to be congratulated on the good material they had to start the season with. The Committee had purchased four new bats with gloves, so the Club had a full set clear of debt to start with. A roller was now being made for the use of the ground. The balance-sheet showed an income of £29 0s 3d, expenditure £27 6s 2d, and a credit balance of £1 14s Id. The election of officers,for the season took place as follows*—President, Mr O. Neal; Vice-Presidents, Messrs W. Reeves, F. Oxley, T. J. Storey, H, Seater, Joseph Tripe, M. Taylor, J. Penney, Richard Burke; Practice Captain, Mr Geo. Randall; Vice-Captain, Mr R. Bragg; Managing Committee, Messrs R. Bragg, M. Taylor, James Randall, G. Randall, H. Tripe, D. Paterabn, J. Haughey; Secretary and Treasurer, Mr J. Haughey; delegate to the Cricket Association, Mr A. Greig. It was resolved that the subscription for the season be ss. Mr R. Bragg notified the meeting that he would again present a bat, ateo Mr Bern. Bragg would give a trophy.
