THE VICTORIAN HARVEST.
AN UNFAVOURABLE OUTLOOK. RAIN BADLY NEEDED. , [press association.] i (Received Sept. 23, 10.20 a.m.) ! MELBOURNE, Sept. 23. The outlook for tne coming harvest is aepressed, particularly as regards the wheat crop. The season has been remarkable for general backwardness and shortage of rainfall, with the exception of the Wimmer* district, where the prospects, although not equal to those of last year, are not altogether discouraging.
