WELLINGTON, July 27. The weather w,as fine but dull for the last day's racing, arid the course was very heavy. The attendance was good. Onslow Handicap—Jolly Friar 1, Gawairi 2, St. Claimer 3. Scratched: St. Bill. Time, Imin'23,4-ssec. Won by three lengths. Dividends, £3 12s and £1 7s.

Crofton Hack. —William 1, Tangeroa 2, Scenery 3. Scratched: Ben Jonson and Clem. Won easily. Time, Imin 39 l-ssec. Dividends, £2 15s and 18s. Hack Hurdles—St. Albert 1, Top Rose 2, Southern Cross 3. _ Scratched: Stayboy, Aotea and Rahui. Won by four lengths. Time, 3min 5 l-ssec. Dividends, £2 11s and-£4 Bs. July Steeplechase—Haydn 1, Khama 2, Needlework 3. Time, 6min 15 2-5 sec. Won by a length. Dividend, £2 135.. , •

Winter Oats—Seaman 1, Kuku 2, Mataari 3. Scratched: Miretta and Makikihii Time, lmin 55 l-ssee. Won by five lengths .Dividends, £3 14s and £2 14s.

Final Hurdles—Ben Jonson 1, Merriwai 2, Cavalry 3. Scratched: Black Squall. Won by four lengths. Time, 3min 39 2-ssec. Dividends, £2 10s and £3 19s.

The double machine paid a dividend of £19.

Kia Ora Hack —Clem 1, Oblivion 2, Aotea 3. Time, lmin 24 2-ssec. Won by a length. Dividends, £3 19s and £2 2s.

The amount put through the tota-is-ator for the meeting (three days) was £52,030, against £26,876 for the two days of last year.
