Jady 26. : At the inquest on the body of the man McEnirney, who hanged himself in Newtown Park on Wednesday, the widow said that the deceased liad been working for the Corporation. He had declared that his employers were against hita, and: would not give him any more work: The witness had appealed to them to giv« Mm something to relieve his mind, bvrt without avail. The refusal had preyed on her Imsband rs mind. • The Coroner said that iiq doubt tne Corporation had certain rides to ;observe, but it did seem to him that ihiey might have given the man a chance.
