SENSATIONAL DISCLOSURES

NEW YORK, June 7

In connection with the Steunburg murder trial at Borse City, Idaho, Orchard testified how, at Haywood's instance, he and Steve Adams wrecked the Providence railway station in order to prevent a split in the Miners' Convention by providing a counterexcitement. Twelve or fourteen persons were killed by - that explosion. Later he asked Haywood for 300 dollars. Haywood sent 300 through Pettibone, while Adams received 200.

Orchard narrated how the murder of a detective was planned by Pettibone, who paid him £100 sterling. Mover and Haywood paid him in connection with the fatal mine-wvecking; they also, with Pettibone, paid him to kill Steunburg, and also paid for fruitless endeavours to kill the Public Prosecutor for thwarting the plans of the Western Miners' Federation.
