FLAXMILLERS' DISPUTE

PALMERSTON N., June 6. In the case for the Union in the flaxmilling dispute now before the Arbitration Court, the evidence called so far is in support of the contention by the Union that work at the mills affects the health more or less of all those employed, the throat and lungs suffering principally. Financially, the Union contends that the recommendations of the Conciliation Board, if made the .basis of an award by the Arbitration Court, will only increase the present cost of production of fibre by lesisper ton. At the conclusion of the hearing of the present case the letterpress dispute will be commenced, and following upon that the typographical dispute.
