AUCKLAND, June 7. A well-dressed young man named Frederick W. Lucas, charged in the Supreme Court yesterday with perjury in connection with an affiliation case, was found guilty. Sentence was deferred.

In the Police Court, a young woman named Florence Murphy, who attempted to commit suicide by throwing herself into the harbour, was remanded.
