Press Association. Electric Telegraph, Copyright. Received July 17, 0.54 a.m. London, July 10. The Standard states that the Italian Archajologieal Mission to Crete discovered, near Agiarreada, a painted sarcophagus dating 2500 years before Christ. It is the oldest painting yet found in Europe.
