HOPE OF IMPROVEMENT ABAN-
DONED.
Reoeived July 15, 6.58 a.m. Rome, July 14. The Pope is greatly wasted, the only sign of life being in the eyes, which are always bright. London, July 14. A Renter despatch says the Pope had several attacks of vomiting during the night, and all hope of improvement is abandoned. A later bulletin states that a change leaves the Pope in a critical condition. His pulse is feeble.
