In the course of his speech at the luncheon, Mr Seddon declared that ©very moral support should be. given, by oar colonists to the loyal Dutch, and friendship shown towards those from whom we differed, which must make South Africa a prosperous conn* try, British rule insuring a peaceful and prosperous settlement.
