PACIFIC CABLE.
Received September 30, 10 p.m. London, September 30. Alderman Sir Marcus Samuel was elected Lord Mayor of London for the
ensuing year.
On the 23rd the Colonia was busy in latitude 27 degrees 23 minutes, longitude 137 degrees 18 minutes, laying the Vancouver-Fanning Island section of the Pacific cable.

The frontiers between Chili and Argentine and between Pera and Bolivia have been adjusted.
