The Imperial Tobacco Company has purchased the American Tobacco Company's British interests, including Ogden's, Limited. Both rivals have formed a British company with a capital of six millions, to be called the British-American Tobacco Company, for tho purpose of the amalgamation of such of their business as is outside Great Britain and America.
