At the Homebush sales New Zealand sheep met a ready sale at improved prices. Shorn fetched from 16s 3d to 265, and woollens 24s 9d to 34s #

Cattle were in moderate supply, and showed a decline. Those from New Zealand were not equal to late shipments, having been bruised on the voyage. Cows ranged from £14 10s 1o £14 12s 6d, and bullocks £15 5s to £19.
