THE CHORAL SOCIETY.

♦ TO THE EDITOR. Sib, — In the columns of last evening's issue I noted that a meeting of the Choral Society is to take place to-night to consider the question of the Society's position. As a great enthusiast m their movements, and one who always takes an interest m their welfaie, a word or two which will be the means of helping to make better attendances at the meetings will, I tru&t, not be out of place — viz., the occupation of a warmer and smaller room, and changing the evenings from Wednesdays, The former will be the means of letting people know that when they turn up to practice their blood will not be chilled m a cheerless hall with no fire ; and m the latter case there will be no possibility of people putting out the excuse that they felt too tired after their Wednesday's holiday re« creation. — I am, etc., Ex-Member.
