TARANAKI AND AUCKLAND.
COACH ROADS WANTED. [UNITED KRESS ASSOCIATION.] New Plymouth, October 15. A large meeting convened by the Mayor was held last evening, respecting connecting Auckland and Taranaki by roads, when a resolution was passed to urge on the Government the necessity of immediately constructing a good ooach road from Stratford via East coast by the line already surveyed to the central railway, route, and that a branch road be similarly constructed by the Mimi North Road until they inter* sect the central. A committee was appointed to carry out the resolution.
