[UNITED FBESS ASSOCIATION.] Auckland, Jane 10. Jsmes Cotton, sen., formerly well known m sporting circles, is dead. Masterton, June 10. Sergeant John Price, who has been many years m the New Zealand police force, died at Masterton this morning from acute bronchitis. Wellington, Jnne 10. John Howard Wallace, one of the oldest identities m Wellington, died this morning from heart disease, aged 75. Mr Wallace arrived m Wellington m 1840, and took an active part m drawing up the petition to the House of Commons "praying that a Constitution should be framed for New Zealand. Deceased was an auctioneer for many years, and was the principal author of .< ' The Early Histoiy of New Zealand.' ' Westpobt, June 10.
. E. W. White, a shunter on the railway, was killed this afternoon. .He slipped, and a train went over him. He leaves a wife and family.
