[UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.] - Donedin, June 10. The Cavershain Licensing Committee refused licenses to the Oaversham Commercial and Kensington Hotels. Wellington, June 10. The Trades and Labor Council, after oonsidering the Industrial Conciliation Bill passed the following resolution \ — " That this Council whilst reserving . the right to suggest alterations as to details, highly approves of the Industrial Conciliation Bill drafted by the Government, and pledges itself to help the Government m every way possible to have it placed on the Statute book of the colony." The steamer AYallabi, which went ashore m Evan's Bay some weeks ago, has been got [off safely. She will probably be dismantled, and turned into a coal hulk. The Gear Meat Company declared a half-yearly dividend at the rate of ten per cent per annum. ■ . Hokitika, June 10. H. L. Snow, publisher of the Kumara Times, has been committed for trial for libel on W. G. Johnson, ironmonger.
