MOBILISING AMERICAN CRUISERS. DISCONTENT IN NEWFOUNDLAND. [UNITED PBESS ASSOCIATION. Washington, January 5. President Harrison has ordered twelve j cruisers, four revenue cutters, and seven i patrol steamers to assemble at San Francisco within a month. It is understood that the mobilising is m connection with the Behring Sea fishery dispute. St. John, January 5. There is great discontent among the inhabitants of Newfoundland, at the renewal of tha modus vivendi with regard to the French shore, and many threaten to overthrow British rale.
