AN EARTHQUAKE SHOCK. THE NEW SOUTH WALES SPEAKER. (UNITED PKESS ASSOCIATION.) Sydney, July 6. A severe shock of earthquake was experienced m the Goulbura, Mittagong and surrounding districts this morning. The vibrations lasted from 15 to 30 seconds, but no damage is reported. In the House of Assembly to-day Mr Buchanan, who was recently elected for the Central Cumberland seat, tabled a 1 motion censuring the Hon James Henry Young, the Speaker of the House. The motion alleges that from deficient knowledge of the Parliamentary law and practice, and his frequent frivolous, irritating interference with memhers during debate, the Speaker has been the direct cause of much disorder, and to*a great extent responsible for impeding the business of the House.
