(UNITED PEESH ASSOCIATION.) Nei-SON, July 11. The football match between Marinorough and Nelson, played here this afternoon was won by the latter by fourteen points to nil. Nelson secured two goals from tries and one from the field. The weather end ground were splendid. Auckland, July 11. A trial fifteen defeated the (.elected aixteen for the luterprovincial Football Match to-day by one poiat, but thq bixteen had much the best of the game. WKWiiNaTON^ July 11. The third, heat for the .Senior Gup' wai^played between the Wellington and Poneke Football Clubs yesterday .and resuited m a win for the Ponekes by a try to nil.
