The brigantiae Seagnll, ftom Port Doughs, and Eieaaor Vernon, from New York, bath report damage by heavy winds and sea. The Seagull, on October 2nd, waa washed by mountainous seas, which atarted some logs on dek, bii'sfc the water-casks and tank, and carried away the wheel. She pat into Newcastle for repairs. la her second attempt aha encountered very heavy weather, but sustained no damage. The Vernon encountered a gale on September- 30th, and seas which broke on board flooded the cabins and atuva m the booby hatch and did other damage.
