NOTES FROM WELLINGTON.

By Telegbaph. [Fr.m u-.ir own Correspondent.] WEHTKOTBN, June 13. TLo lelurn moved for by Mr Fisher last session, shewing the number of persons m the Government employ, their stations, salaries, etc., has just been printed. To it is addei all reductions, dismissals, removals, resignations, etc., since the ci «o of KH session. Nearly 430 have resigned, beuii s.u:iu.'ily dismissed, or their services have been dispensed with m accordance with the retrenchment scheme. The places of those who have died have not been filled up. About 20 have been put on half pay, and a large numbe>' of others have been informed that their employ is now only of a te-nporary charaoter. It is rumoured that m place of having a large number of Ministerial measures before the House at o.io and the same time, the Government will pursue the policy of endeavouring to pass. each measure before another is brought on. It is generally understood Ministers will Abandon the idea of bringing m a Council Reform Bill this session. The fight of the session is anticpated over the Redistribution of Seats Bill. Should Mr Weston be returned the Government practically lose four votes, and it is said advantage will lv taken of this to gain them for a middle party, i hat may probably be formed.
