SPRING CREEK RIVERS BOARD.
The Board met at the Public Hall on Monday list at 7 p.m. The members present war* G. Dodson (Chairman) J. H. Rodwood, I. Gifford, Wm. Murray, and C. O'Dwyer. The minutes of the previous "meeting were read and confirmed. The Secretary reported that m accordance with instructions received from the Chairman he had opened the tenders for the fencing at Robinson's Embankment, and bad accepted the lowest. The Board confirmed the action of the Secretary, Had the following are the tenders received.
Wm. Jones (for the whole work), £30 12s Bd, (accepted) ; ,J.,lm ll utson, £45 10s ; (>. Withey, £52 10s ; J. Von Pein, 19s '3d per chain; Andrill and Gibson, 19s CJ per chain. In reply to Mr O'Dwyer, the Secretary said the length of the feuce, would be about 48 chains. The following accounts were passed for payment :— Hathaway and Thompson, L 2 103 2d ; Times advertising, 12s. The Board then adjourned.
