The following are the very latest unpublished despatches received by cable and overland line, up to 11 p.m. on April 17. Paris, April 17.

General Churetti in his official report to the Commune, says Fort Vanvres was attacked five times in succesion on Saturday. An obstinate struggle is going on at Neuilly between the Government troops and the Communists, where the ground is disputed by inches.

The Versailles and the Government troops are concentrating, and a severe action expected. The Germans have been reinforced by 18,000 men, and are preparing to interfere.

The sale of horse-flesh has again commenced, and other signs of scarcity of food. A further number of manufacturers have been arrested for keeping their workshops open, and preventing the Nationals from joining the Communists. The Germans occupy St. Ouens. Rio Janiero, March 25. The Emperor and Empress go to Europe in May.

The Paris elections for the Commune attracted little attention, many abstaining from voting. There was a demonstration yesterday in Hyde Park in favor of the insurgents. A Times leader on the Alabama question hails the probable settlement of the claim with genuine satisfaction, and thinks the arbitration will acquit England. A Times special from Versailles says the Prussian trenches on the ten’ace at Meudon are now occupied by the French Government troops. 17 guns, pointing at Ivry and Vanvres, have been placed in position. New York, April 17.

A Tribune special from Paris says : On Sunday, firing was incessant, the Government at Versailles are giving 24 hours to surrender.

The City is completely invested. Vanvres sustained five separate assaults last evening. The ambulance has been carrying dead and wounded of the assailants.

The fighting under Paris has been incessant, resulting in complete victory for the insurgents (Communists). 1000 Government soldiers were killed at Vanvres, and several hundred prisoners at Neuilly.

The Commune has taken all the i-ail-roads out of Paris under its control.

Yesterday attacks were made by the insurgents on Port Dauphine. The Champs Elysees is much damaged by shells. The buildings occupied by the American Legation are much damaged. The Minister of Washington Is still at his post. There is only provisions enough in Paris to last three weeks.
