RECORD CATTLE PRICES.

Sensational price- were made at the sale of the prize animals at the recent Eat Stock Show ol\the Royal Society of Argentina. The champion of the show. I a Shorthorn steer, owned by Senor 'Mif'no] A. The sensational sale of the dav. however, was that of a Hereford steer which made £920. . . . The ordinary run of prices was in the region of £.'120. though that represents a large price for butcher cattle. Tin Aberdeen-Angus champion. theprnporU of Messrs Rrown, was purchased bv the La Plata Com puny at i.'2"A and _ they had another pair at CI8.") and six at €l5O, these being all Aberdeen-Angus steer*. The La Plata Company was the purchaser of a handsome crossbred Ah-erdeen-Angus steer shown bv the Samuel H. Hale Company, and probably one of the best butchers' beasts in the yard. at C*2s.
