Stains of a well-known disinfectant were found in his month and a hall filled bottle of the same fluid in his pocket. At the inquest Jessie' Atk nson, his wife, said her husband drank heavily. He was cruel to her and' she left him. On Tuesday she obtained a separation order, and £1 a week maintenance. A niece said the man had been depressed since the court proceedings. She saw a bottle in his hand, but he would not tell her what was in it. A verdict of "Suicide by taking poison" was returned.
