FIRE IN SAWDUST HEAP.
PEE ONITFT) PRESS A SBOCIA.TIOS WELLINGTON, Jan. 14. The secretary. of the General Post Office received a telegram from the postmaster at Auckland stating that he had been advised by the postmaster at Dargaville that a 'fire was raging at Aratapu. It started in a sawdust heap and was approaching the houses near the post office, from which furniture was being removed. He had rendered assistance to save the office.
