It was reported: at a meeting of the Hospital Committee this morning that on December 20 a lad l was admitted 1 suffering from a virulent affection of the throat. Three nurses contracted 1 the disease, which terminated fatally in the case of Nurse Keywortb, 21 years of age, and in her third year of training. Another nurse is making a slow recovery, and the third is convalescent. The medical superintendent stated that the occurrence was one of those unfortunate happenings which were bound to occur at times despite every reasonable precaution being taken:
