Albert O'Grady, a motor mechanic, accused his wife of infidelity, and they quarrelled. His wife left him on Saturday, but returned to-day. O'Grady desired to effect a reconciliation, but the wife declined, and went into a bedroom where an infant was lying. O'Grady followed her and cut the throats of both his wife and child with a razor. He then surrendered to the police. INFORMS THE POLICE. Received November 6, 9.50 a.m. SYDNEY, Nov. 6. After the crime O'Grady utilised a neighbor's telephone for the purpose of informing the. police. He stated that he was maddened by his wife striking him with a poker during the quarrel.
