ENTERTAINMENTS.

PATHE PICTURES. The Pathe Picture Company will submit a particularly good programme at the Dominion Hall this evening, the star film, "Esmeralda," an episode from "The Hunchback of Notre Dame," being supported by a very fine selection of films including an excellent comic entitled "A Double Adoption," "Jealousy," "Studies in Dramatic Expression" (by Florence Turner), "Birds of a " Feather," "Mutual Detestation," "Troubles of Billy," "Waterfalls of Elkarlo," "Views of Africa and Congo." The management has taken particular care over the selection of this programme and it is confidently anticipated that it will -attract and picase a very large audience. Mr McLean has just completed a thorough overhaul of his apparatus and this should result in even clearer projection than usual. STEVENSON'S PICTURES. After an enforced absence of some weeks the Stevenson's Pictures Proprietary will re-open at the newly-reno-vated Town Hall this evening with an attractive programme, which includes the following films:— "The Delhi Durbar," "Sports in Indo-China," ''An Aching Void," "Adventures of an Ardent Lover," "The Tramp," "Luncho Game at Lizardhead," "The Adventures of Billy," "Madeleine's Rebellion," "Boy Scouts' Red-letter Day," "The Buccaneers," "A Turkish Cigarette." The film dealing with the Delhi Durbar is fresh from India and as it deals with the great pageant which is still being described in the newspapers, it may be expected to prove of exceptional interest. MR BUCKLEY'S CONCERT. The Town Hall will be ready for Mr Buckley's farewell concert to-morrow night and prospects of an enjoyable evening will be considerably enhanced by the improvements made, for not only will the acoustic properties be better, hut more accommodation will be available so that patrons will be better catered for than the last concert, when a number had to stand. The programme is a varied and happy one and should appeal to all music lovers. With items by Schumann, Grieg, and Bach of the older school, and MacDowell, Sgambati and Farjeon of the modern period the evening should pass away quickly and pleasantly and to the satisfaction of all. Mrs Christie will sing items by Dudley-Buck and Liszt, while Mr John Leech, a very fine tenor from Home, will contribute items by Wood-forde-Finden, Landon Ronald and "Take a Pair of Sparkling Eyes]' (Sullivan), the latter being a favorite with everyone. Further particulars are advertised.
