WAIKAIA WARDENS COURT.

A sitting of the Waikaia Warden's Court was held on Tuesday before Mr H. A. Young, Warden. F. Hamer (Mr Bowler) withdrew an application for a special claim of 45 acres and was granted a special claim of 15 acres on .Muddy Creek. P. Ken nelly did not appear in support of his application for a water race at Nokomai and the application was struck out. Tho Muddy Terrace Sluicing, Company (Mr P. Duncan) was granted protection . for 12 months, the Minister consenting and surrendered a special claim on the Terraces. Richardson and Woodlands (Mr Milne) withdrew an application for an extended claim. John Bradbury (Mr Milne) was granted a dam. F. Hamer (Mr Bowler) applied for a water-race form Boundary creek subject to all prior rights, including the right applied for by John Maher. R. McLennjin (Mr lnder for Mr Poppelv.ell) objected and claimed compensation. T3ie application was granted subject to Maher's application and to compensation to McLennan, the question of costs being reserved. I). A. Cameron's application for a water-race at Nokomai was struck out, there being no appearance of the applicant. An application by H. Nelson {Mr lnder) for an extension of his waterrace from Rob Roy was objected to by the Muddy Terrace Company (Mr P. Duncan) and was adjourned, specifications to be drawn up in the meantime and agreed on by the parties, or arbitrators to be appointed in case tho parties could not agree.
