John Zelin, alias Rosen, a hairdresser in Hackney, who was detaimd some days ago, has been remanded on a charge of conspiring with Morountzetf (since dead) <at the burglary in Houndsditch.

A WOMAN ARRESTED. Received February 9, 8.5 a.m. LONDON, Feb. 8. A woman who is wanted in connection with the Houndsditch police murders was arrested at Whitechapel at midnight, and also a young Russian early this morning. An extraordinary shooting affray took place in Houndsditch, E.C., on December 16. Five policemen were shot, one being killed. About 11.40 p.m. the attention of a police sergeant was atracted by a nois? at a small shop in some premises known as Exchange Buildings, Cutler Street, Houndsditch. He at once went to the shop and was met with a shot from a revolver. Other policemen hurried to the scene, and they too were received with revolver shots. Five policemen in all were shot down. Their names are Sergeants Bentley, Tucker and Bryant and Constables Choat and Woodhams, all of whom are attached to Bißhopsgate Street Police Station. Sergeant Tucker subsequently died from his injuries.
