PER UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND. July 21. The Board of Education has decided to accept tlio grant for free school books. It was stated that the Hoard had been too conscientious in declining to make the required declaration, knowing that the grant was insufficient. Mr Greenslade,- M .1\ for Waikato, said the Wellington Board had lost £(io over the transaction, and the Auckland Board would lose about £l5O.
