MORE IMMIGRANTS.
THE TONGARIRO'S PASSENGERS. PER UNITED I'IiKSS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, July 20. Two hundred and fifteen passengers are due to reach New Zealand about the middle of next week by the Tongariro. Of these 181 are travelling third class. The number of assisted immigrants on board is 74, of whom 25 are children. 3D are women, and only 19 aro men. 'File assisted people include 37, who aro nominated in" New Zealand. Of these seven are men who have work waiting, twelve are women, and 18 are children. Amongst the women, 18 are described as domestics, and live as wives travelling out to rejoin their husbands. The men include eight fanners, seven farm laborers, and a shepherd. One farmor hrings COOO with him, another £4O and another £3OO.
