Messrs Dalhety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual weekly auction sale on Monday, when the attendance of buyers was small. Oftls — Our catalogue was made up entirely of medium and inferior .samples, for which tho demand was very slack. We quo c : Prime milling Sutherlands, Is lljd to 2s ; good to best feed, Is lid ; ftiir to medium, Is yd to Is lOd; inferior, Is Gd (sacks extra). Wheat. — There is a fair- demand for prime milling at late rates, but other sorts are not enquired for. Prime velvet and Tuscan, 2s Gd ; medium and second class (nominally), 2s 3d to 2s 4d ; fowl feed, 2s to 2s Id (sacks in). Potatoes— Supplii s are small, and in consequence there has been a rise of from 7b Gd to 103 per ton; best Derwents, £2 15s to £3. Chaff — The demand for prime quality keeps strong, and all coming forward meets with ready sale ; medium and inferior is not much enquired for. Prime, £3 3s to £3 7s Gd ; old, 2s Gd more ; good, £3 2s Gd ; medium and inferior, £2 to £2 15s.
