Bible in Schools.
. The following questions are issued by the Synod of the Presbyterian Church of Otago and Southland, to alt candidates for Parliament, to which a definite answer is requested for publication : — "Will you, if elected, use your influence and vote to have the daily use of the Scripture Lesson Books of the Commissioners of National Education in Ireland in the public schools referred by way of plebiscite to the electors of the colony for their decision ?" " Will you, if elected, support a bill giving immediate effect, with the provision of a couscicnce clause, to the decision of the electors, if that decision should be favorable ?"
