Bachelors' Ball at Balfour.

«. - The bachelors of Balfour gave a very successful ball in the Town Hall on Friday, > 30th ult. The bachelors' were present in;- ' " great force, and although the floor was some- •- — what crowded, every one present was in a " / state of single blessedness. The ball opened with the grand march at , .■■:' 9, and dancing was-feuot-iip" with great' spirit.. • "■ until 5 a.m. The half-was most tastefully ■--;■- --decorated by the working committee, and a „;' word of praise is due to them for the able manner in which they brought the ball to >a ~ -- successful issue.
