draught gelding for Ll6 ; on account Mr S. Fletcher, one draught mare at L 2 110., to MoGillivray BrosJGreoov^le; acci unt Mr; Jamas Smith, Otama, one very nice d. au;ht > mare for L 22 to Mr Jobn Dysal, InvercargiU ; acoount George Kissel, one gelding for LIIB ; account D. Ferguson, one gelding LlB 10s; acoount James Miir. Tapanui, one draught mare to R. Hastie, Mataura for Ll6 ; account other vendors the b lance at from LIO to Ll7 for aged aLd medium draughts. The bidding was very spirited throughout, and tbe sale was considered a decided success, and from a sellei's point of view very satisfactory. Riding hacks and light harness horses, demand moderate. Immediately after the hone sale we offered Mr John Robertson's Ot-karama property, but failed to find a purchaser at his reserve. It was passed in at Mr Donald McDonald's bid of L4 l2s 6d per acre ; however we anticipate a sal e being made to-morrow privately.
