The bidding was very spirited throughout, and tbe sale was considered a decided success, and from a sellei's point of view very satisfactory. Riding hacks and light harness horses, demand moderate. Immediately after the hone sale we offered Mr John Robertson's Ot-karama property, but failed to find a purchaser at his reserve. It was passed in at Mr Donald McDonald's bid of L4 l2s 6d per acre ; however we anticipate a sal e being made to-morrow privately.
