Tbe entry consisted of about $00 steep and 756 of these were penned and aold by ourselves at following figures : — Gossbred • lambs up to 61. freezers (wethers) up to lis, store wethers 7s 6d to 9s Oil. The prices obtained was sliehtly in advance of last Bales. Good lambs and store wethers are in f_ir demand, we bave several inquires tor tbis class nf stock, and at the moment of writing could placo several thousands at above quotations.— £sro*e!)red ewes in lamb. It is rather early for this elaea of stock, but we anticipate during next montha a keen demand for crojjsbrcd ewes, as wopt of our settlers are rather under than over stocked.
