HUNT CLUB.

TO TIIE EDITOR. Sir, —Kindly allow mo a small spaco in your interesting' paper to publicly announce to the members of the Hunt Club that the hounds will in future be laid on a quarter of an hour after the time advertised for meeting. Great responsibility rests with me as to the success or failure of a run, and as we are gaining speed every meet, I must request the members to bo punctual to the advertised hour, “ or I shall go ” (having the sanction of the master aud several members to do so). If the time—2.30 — is unsuitable, chango it, but roll up to time. Any hour will suit me, even if it be 12 o’clock on a moonlight night; it would not be the first time I have steeplechased over a country at that hour.— Yours, etc., Richard Weller. Huntsman of M.H.C.
