CITY RIFLES.
The third company competition and ninth Hobson Cup (No 2) took place on Friday at the Vernon Butts. The 2nd and 3rd class only competed for prizes. The weather was fine though cold, and a light north-east breeze prevailed. The following are the scores : SECOND CLASS—THIRD COMPETITION.
