Arrival of the Doric .
(Per Press Association.) f PoBT CIIALMJCRS, Dec '2O. Arrived, Doric, from Plymouth, via Teneriffe, Cape Town and Hobart, after a passago of 42 days 11 hours and 22 min - iites from Plj.nouth, including 22 hours stoppages at the ports. She brings 23 saloon, 20 second saloon and 71 steerage passengers for ih : s Colony, having landed 9G passengers at ports of ca I '. during the voyage. The general health has been good, and neither births or deaths are to bo recorded. She is expected to sail tomorrow evening for Lj itleton. She left Plymouth at 1.4 G p.tn on Nov oth ; mot a terrific gale across the Bay of Biscay; called at Teneriffe on the 10th, and Capetown on the 2Gth ; arrived at Holiart on Dec loth at G. 40 p.m., and left again at 9.10 a.m. on the IGth, anchoring off the V Otago Heads at 9.40 p.in. on the 19th, and steamed into port this evening.
