Recently a few diggers have located themselves in tho Tadrnor, which is halfway between Nobon and the Owen, and it, is through the Tadrnor Valley that it is proposed to take the Midland Railway. Applications for a water race and tail race come before the V union s Court hero to-morrow, hut the applications am opposed by other miners. Altogether, there are prosoeets of mining looking up in this district during tho summer. Tho directors of the Wakatu Co. (Owen) mot to-night, and declared a dividend of 3d per share.
