The Auckland Affiliation Case
THE WOMAN INDICTED FOR MUBDEB. Per Press Association. Auckland, Nov 14. The affiliation caso against Geo. Poolcy •was dismissed at the Police Court to-day. Mr Baddeley, 8.M., instructed that Ellen Frances Brown ho prosecuted for perjury. After hearing the evidence of how the woman had admitted her deception, Mr Baddeley said tho caso was the most shameful and barefaced ho ever came across. The woman Bed so naturally he at one timo thought the ease looked bad for Tooley. Sergt. Pratt stated tho prisoner wou'd bo charged with perjc y, and with making a falso declaration to the Registrar. A remand for eight days was granted.
