Waiuu 1 , who was sued by John Clifford for alleged violent assai ’t en board that vessel, Stcwait liav.ug, it is said, stuiok tho pla*"itif£ voider the impression that ho was a stowaway. Evidence for tho defence set out that tho plaintiff sustained h : s ’njuries by faffing on tho deck whilst intoxicated, and tho case was dismissed.
